STEARATES
Stearates are esters of the Stearic Acid, obtained through precipitation and fusion processes.
Depending on the combination of the Fatty Acid with the Metallic Oxyde, we obtain a product for a specific application.
The Stearates produced by Inbra, are available in forms such as: micronized; granules; scales and liquid (emulsion).
Among the many applications of the Stearates, we can list:
- Polyolefins Antacid, directly contributing to give stability to the color and corrosion prevention.
- Auxiliary flow in extrusion and calendering of polyamides ; estirenes and rubber.
- Demolding Agent and vulcanization activator in thermoplastics ; rubber ; PU foams; and polyester resins.
- Synergism with stabilization systems and lubricants in PVC processings.
- Pigments dispersion in masterbatch.
- Improvement of surfaces and thickener in paints and varnishes.
- Thixotropic Agent.
- Waterproofing in mortar.
- Auxiliary flow in powder fire extinguishers.
- Process auxiliar in several resins recycling.
